After many years of having a blog and not using it I am up and running again. My creative juices are flowing. Spring is right around the corner and there is so much to do and share.
Yesterday was project day. First I started off with a table from Ikea that was free on the local trading post. The table had a big scratch on the top so I sanded it smooth. I have a case of old vintage labels from a closed down Kentucky distillery. I thought this would be the perfect cover for this table. Mod Podge in hand here I go.

My hubby is giving me a hand.

Slow but sure it takes awhile.

So there are some wrinkles. Worked on smoothing them out and used a small wooden roller and a straight pin to pop bubbles. Problem with working with vintage paper it wants to soak up all the moisture and it expands.
This is what it looks like after it is dry. Now to top it with a couple coats of polyurethane.
This is a great Man cave table perfect for Bourbon Country.
Next project a matching coffee table
